Čerňava - rocks above the forest road

  A nice example of "Čerňava stone" can be seen quite comfortably if, in the saddle behind Tesák, we decide to ignore the yellow tourist sign leading to the top of Čerňava (844 m) and head through the forest to the left on an unmarked asphalt road. This path goes around the broken slopes of the mountain almost along the contour and after about 1 km of walking we pass through a beautiful beech forest.
