Čerchov - 1041 m above sea level
The roots of the highest point of the Bohemian Forest date back to the 19th century, when members of the Domažlice Club of Czech Tourists became more interested in Čerchov. The owner of the local manor, Count Stadion, donated wood to the Czech Tourists' Club for the construction of an observation tower. The plan of the lookout tower was made by carpenter Jakub Zelenka. On July 15, 1894, the first tourists climbed the 17-meter-high wooden three-story observation tower.
