Chanka
Čánka - village southwest of Opočno. The village was first documented in writing in 1390 in connection with its transfer to the Prague chapter from the property of the Opočensky estate by the then owner Štěpán z Opočné. However, bronze objects testify to the settlement of the locality already in the younger Stone Age. Today in the village we can find several preserved farm buildings and a Chapel from 1887. The village is crossed by the KČT cycle route No. 222.
