The former synagogue in Hořovice

The religious Jewish community in Hořovice was founded in 1875. It had around 300 members at the time, and a rented room in a house in the town served as a prayer room, which was used until 1903, when a new synagogue was built according to the plan of the builder Otto Zambory.
