Bystré - statue of the Virgin Mary of Sorrows
On the square in front of the entrance to the church in the town of Bystré u Poličky stands a remarkable baroque sculpture representing the Virgin Mary of Sorrows. Its author is the famous Litomyšl sculptor Jiří František Pacák (around 1670-1742), who created it in 1725. Originally, the statue stood on the way from the town hall to the castle.
