Butoves
The original name of the village was Nová Lhota, Hrnčířova Lhota, then Lhota Turská. The current village was founded on November 25, 1784 after the parcelling of the manor house from ancient times (Nová Lhota was founded in 1392), which stood on the site of the defunct Lhota Turská. The name of the village is derived from the surname of Mikoláš Buta, a subject of the Veliš estate, who owned the former Hrnčířova Lhota at the end of the 16th century.
