Bust of Bedřich Smetana

A bronze bust of the Czech music composer Bedřich Smetana is located in the upper part of Smetanova náměstí in Adamov. The statue was created by academic sculptor Jan Tříska at a cost of CZK 8 for the Hlahol choir.000. May 23 it was ceremonially unveiled. At the unveiling of the monument, some choirs were sung, especially Smeta's "Věno" and a choral piece by the Brno composer Zdeňko Blažek, especially for this purpose...
