Beech on Drápelky in the Blahoňůvka valley

This dominant stout forest beech is located in the Drápelka forest track above the paved road in the forested valley of the Blahoňůvka stream at the mouth of a prominent side valley on the right about 1 km south of the village of Blahoňov. A fit individual at the optimal age reaches a total height of 24 m and the circumference of the tree trunk at breast height is 344 cm. Its age is estimated at 150-200 years.
