Building of the Mortgage Credit Institution No. 139/140 in Hradec Králové

On the site of today's Gallery of Modern Art on Velké náměstí originally stood the so-called Caivas town houses No. 139-140 (old numbering 125-124), which were Gothic one-story buildings that were first modified in the Renaissance style, later in the Baroque style, and in 1869 were enriched by another floor and a classicist facade.
