Renaissance castle building in Kyjov

Near Masaryk square in the city center you will find one of Kyjov's monuments - a Renaissance castle from the middle of the 16th century, it is the oldest preserved building in the city. Since 1548, it belonged to the city, city officials and later officers of the local garrison lived in it. The castle in the middle of the city is a small rectangular storey building, partly Renaissance and partly Baroque. Renaissance vaults can be seen in some rooms.…
