Beech tree

Defunct village below Poštovní hora. Once the highest settlement in Šumava (1062 m), founded in the middle of the 18th century. at the Bavarian border connecting Kvilda with Finsterau. After the displacement of the Germans, the village disappeared, in 1992 the Chapel was rebuilt and the border crossing for pedestrians and cyclists was opened.
