Brodský luh

It is located in the flat valley of the Dyje River, today squeezed into a wide bed starting from the Upper (Mušovské) Novomlýn Reservoir, west of the village of Brod nad Dyjí. It is a remnant of the once vast floodplain landscape that stretched here along the entire Dyje course. In recent years, the former wet meadows here have been reforested, and the local meadow is thus losing its diversity. But even so, the local depressions continue...
