Brno - statue of František Ondřej Poupět
A copy of the statue of František Ondřej Poupěte (1753-1805), who was the brewer of the Brno city brewery and a reformer of the brewing industry, stands among the barrels in the backyard of the former municipal brewery near Šilingrova náměstí in the center of Brno. He had a principle: wheat for pies, oats for horses, only barley for beer.
