The Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary and St. Thomas the Apostle stands in the center of Brno on Moravské náměstí.
It was founded as part of the Augustinian monastery on February 2, 1350 by the Moravian margrave Jan Jindřich of Luxemburg (younger brother of Charles IV), who wanted to place the burial place of his family here.
