Josef Chaloupka (1898-1930) was a Czech poet and playwright. After studying at the teachers' institute in Brno, he enlisted on the Russian front, where he was wounded. After the war, he started as a teacher first in Měnín and later until his untimely death at the Family School of the Vesna Association in Brno. He was a co-founder of the Brno Literary Group.
