The diocesan museum in Brno is located in the so-called canon residence, which is a grand name for a relatively small "house" in Petrova. It was founded in the middle of 1993 as the first institution of this type in the territory of our republic. Until 1999, the Diocesan Museum was housed in the premises of the Augustinian monastery in Staré Brno, after which its activities were interrupted for a long time.
