The Denis orchards were created at the beginning of the 19th century on the site of a park with 14 Stations of the Cross. It is the very first public park in Moravia and Bohemia. It was created on the initiative of the Moravian viceroy Antonín Bedřich Count Mitrovský and founded by the public administration in 1814-1818.
