Brno-Chrlice
Brno-Chrlice is a district in the south of the metropolis. It is formed by the city district of Chrlice, Chirlitz in German. Originally an independent municipality, it was annexed to Brno in 1971. Its cadastral territory covers an area of 9,49 km². It was established as a self-governing district on November 24, 1990. Today, approximately 3700 inhabitants live in Chrlice.
