Brother pine

In the Habřina forest, on a slope about 200 meters from the road connecting the village of Slemeno with Rychnov nad Kněžnou, there is a preserved torso of a massive pine tree. It has a wall and an information board. The age of this extinct tree is estimated at 350-450 years. The height was estimated at 22 m, the circumference of the trunk almost 4 m and the width of the crown 20 m. It was the only pine tree in the clearing, which was surrounded by mostly deciduous forest.
