When it became clear that after the rise of National Socialism in Germany, pre-war Czechoslovakia was in danger of direct aggression, massive investments in armaments and the development of the army began. Unfortunately, it was calculated that the state treasury would not be able to support the massive arming of the field army, so the idea appeared to secure the border with a massive fortification belt. According to the military doctrines of the time, it was nothing backward after all.…
