Branná - Mariánský pramen

Branná or Kolštejn is an old place of pilgrimage. Above the miraculous spring stood a wooden Church and in it a wooden statue of the Virgin Mary Comforter. According to legend, the statue was brought from the Holy Land by the Knights of Malta. A number of miracles were attributed to the spring of water and the statue, and the number of pilgrims to Kolštejn increased.
