Branná - South Bohemia

The village of Branná is mentioned in historical records as early as 1366, when the Rožmberks bought it from the provost of Mělnice, Jan z Landštejn. To the south of the village lie two larger ponds Jamský and Ruda, built at the beginning of the 16th century by the pond owner Štěpánek Netolicky.
