Boskovice - Jewish quarter

It is a remarkable large complex from around 1800. The oldest written report is dated 1346. The ghetto was first a self-governing district, and after 1848 a village with its own mayor, police and fire department. In 1919 it was merged with the city. To this day, it is one of the best-preserved Jewish neighborhoods in our country.
