Boskovice – fire alarm bell on the town hall building

The Renaissance town hall building with its almost 42-meter high tower is one of the landmarks of the charming South Moravian town of Boskovice. However, not everyone notices that an important "late Gothic to early Renaissance" fire bell with a chain puller is still preserved on the right side of the town hall facade - at a height of approximately 12 meters. It dates from 1593 and was used to announce fires.
