Boskovice, a city that surprises.

Boskovice is located at the foot of the Drahanská vrchovina, approximately 35 kilometers north of Brno. The river Bělá flows near the southern edge of the city and there are many forests around the city. The first written mention of the place dates back to 1222, but the settlement of this region certainly took place several centuries earlier.
