Bludov - monument to Adolf Kašpar

The illustrator and painter Adolf Kašpar was born in Bludov on December 27, 1877. He studied painting in Prague, where he later lived, but he regularly and happily returned to his native Moravia, mainly for inspirational reasons. His probably best-known artistic works are the illustrations for Božena Němcová's Grandmother or Alois Jirásek's Philosophical History. Adolf Kašpar died suddenly during a trip to Šumava...
