The village of Blanice is located above the river Blanica, about 3 km southwest of Mladá Vožice. Since 1318, the village was owned by Zdeslav, written from Blanice. At that time, part of the village was held by Jan Kozel from Blanice, after whom it was then called Kozlova. In 1623, Blanice was added to the Chýnov manor.
