Biskoupská snake steppe - a natural monument
In 1979, the Biskoupská Hadcová Steppe with an area of 2,58 ha was declared a natural monument. It is located in the territory of the Nature Park Střední Pojihlaví and lies at an altitude of 226-270 m above sea level on the left bank of the Jihlava River in the southwest below Biskoupkami. Biskoupská serpentine steppe consists of steep serpentine slopes with numerous rockeries, woody plants and stands of heat-loving steppe communities with some protected species...
