Beroun – footbridge over Berounka

The current Beroun footbridge, which connects the historic center of the city with the Beroun – Závodí district, is a modern building from the beginning of the 21st century. Its creation was caused by a flood that essentially completely destroyed the original footbridge in August 2002. Its upper structure was washed away by the water, the supporting pillars were destroyed and only the remains of the concrete steps to the footbridge over Berounka remained.
