Beroun and the Prague Gate under Husový náměstí

When you visit, you can hardly miss it. The gate, also known as Dolní, served as part of the city's defense system and formed the entrance to the city on the road from Prague.
 
It was built in the 14th century, but its current appearance dates from 1893, when it was repaired.
