The settlement of Benkovice is a local part of the town of Hradec nad Moravicí and is located in the western direction from it. There are nice forests around the settlement. Štěrk hill (434 masl) rises above Benkovice in the north direction and Horka (453 masl) in the west direction. There is a nice view of the surroundings from the top of Štěrk, and we can get here along the dirt road past the agricultural cooperative. There is a nice church in the southern part of the village.
