Bělá pod Pradědem – Domašov – Maria's spring

The history of the pilgrimage site under the Jęráb slope is not particularly long. The date 1879 suggests that the place was created more as a local reaction to the relatively recent apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Lourdes, France. As is well known, in 1858 the Virgin Mary was supposed to have appeared several times to Bernadette Soubirus in a small town in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
