Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Help in Filipov.

Filipov is a local part of Jiříkov. It is located near the border with Germany, approximately 4 kilometers NE of Rumburk. The basilica stands on the site of the Philippian miracle. The miracle was supposed to be the healing of a terminally ill local woman on the night of January 12 to 13, 1866. A chapel was built on the site of the miracle in 1870, and between 1873 and 1886 a church in neo-Romanesque style was built, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, Help of Christians.…
