Baroque chapel of St. Prokop in the place of the original Čehovice

Čehovice is a village near Prostějov. The first written report about Čehovice dates from 1299. In the 14th and 15th centuries, lords from Kravař, Tovačovský and Pernštejnová gradually became the owners of Čehovice. Until 1623, Čehovice was located in a different place than it is today, namely the Stráž hill above the Čehovick pond. The reason for the demise of the original Čehovice was the burning of the village at the beginning of the Thirty Years' War.
