Baler's Mill
A unique technical monument can be found near Spálov in the Oder Hills. In the field south of the village we find the smallest windmill in the Czech Republic. It was built in 1929 by František Baler from nearby Luboměř. His reason was simple, until then there were several Windmills in the area, but after the last one was taken away, such a device was missing here. There used to be 7 windmills in the vicinity of Spálov, all of the German type...
