Grandmother Valley

A valley known and named after the work of Božena Němcová Babiček - whose plot is located here.
in the valley of the river Úpa in the district of Náchod near the castle in Ratibořice.
Grandmother's Valley was first named in 1878 by the writer Otakar Jedlička. In 1952 it became a landscape and national reserve and in 1978 it became a national cultural protected area and a national cultural monument.
