The premises of the castle in Letohrad

 
At first, the Gothic castle Kyšperk towered over the future city, but it was demolished and its masonry dismantled. Since the sixteenth century, there has been a fortress in Kyšperk (the residence was renamed Letohrad only in 1950), which was built by Burian from Žampach as a replacement for the destroyed castle. (In today's main castle building, the cellars, vaults on the ground floor and part of the perimeter walls up to the height of the first floor have been preserved from it...
