Abertamy, a town in the Ore Mountains.
A town, but perhaps more like a small town, Abertamy is located in the district of Karlovy Vary, approximately 8 km SE of the better-known Nejdek. Everything started here in the first half of the 16th century. The first written mention is from 1529. At that time, silver and tin were mined here. From 1579 Abertamy was a royal mining town.
