5 Czech museums that can be described as truly unconventional

Each of us has been to a museum at some point. But why keep visiting those that offer dull things, a few pieces of noble pride or archaeological objects that sometimes lack an interesting story? 1. Museum of records and curiosities in Pelhřimov

The largest of the Czechs does not need to be introduced, the Jára Cimrman Lighthouse is located in the U Čápa area, where you will find a girl's dress that the master wore in his childhood, a broom designed for cleaning corners or a lookout tower made of pine wood, where you can enjoy a great view of the whole area.

No child will be bored at Menínská brána, because this exhibition is mainly intended for our little ones. But the toy museum is full of nostalgia, so even adults will have fun here. Historical pieces that we probably won't find in Czech rooms anymore. Prams, small theaters, but also toy cars and lots of stuffed animals, really - just what a child's exuberant imagination can imagine!

In our capital, you can visit a museum dedicated to the automotive industry. Trabant from the GDR it was a sought-after pearl thirty years ago, it certainly hasn't lost its special charm even today, even if we probably wouldn't pay for the fuel for a longer trip.
