Crocodile Zoo

Classic zoos are overflowing with animals, so you don't know what to look at afterwards. The specialized zoo in Protivín does not solve this problem, however, because it focuses on only one type of animal, and that is crocodiles. The aim of the zoo is exhibit all 23 recent crocodile species and care especially for species that are critically endangered. The zoo places great demands not only on the care of crocodiles, but also the ecological aspect of this care. The building in which it is located is therefore historical, but its equipment represents a modern background for the care and support of the reproduction of crocodiles. In the future, the zoo should be supplemented with a museum.
